Born and raised in Greece, Nikos Ligidakis came to America in 1969, at the age of 24, after opposing the military regime in his country.  In America,  he began to write with clarity and passion  about the eternal struggle for life and freedom. His best selling book, The Heroes of my Thoughts, is a warm and loving tribute to his parents and became the genesis for the "Children's Pen Foundation" a non-profit educational program founded by Nick in 2001 to inspire 6th and 7th graders to develop writing skills.  Today Nick coaches first-time authors.   His publishing company, Inkwell Productions, is changing the traditional face of publishing.

Cathy Zornes is a published professional astrologer and a fiction writer. She wrote astrological columns for a midwest newspaper and contributed as an author to: 
Llewellyn Worldwide Sun Signs 2000, and Llewellyn's Astrology Calendar 2003. Cathy is furiously composing two astrology books and writes Romances and Mysteries.  Her female sleuth is an astrologer, of course! Cathy Zornes speaks to writers on how to use astrology

Terry Hertzler worked for 20 years as an editor and wrote for magazines and newspapers, sales marketing, and technical documents. He taught composition, poetry and technical writing at the university level and at writers conferences.  His short stories and poetry have appeared in various publications, including the LA Times, and have been produced on stage and for radio and television. He own Caernavon Press, which has published the work of 
more than a dozen authors since 1985. He is the founder of the San Diego Writers' Cooperative. Terry has also owned bookstores and sells rare and collectible books on the internet.  Hertzler served with the 101st airborne Division in Vietnam (1969-1970).  He is an addict reader, an audiophile and owns two motorcycles.

Dr. Loretta Malandro's credentials include a Ph.D.  in Communication Theory and Research from Florida State University, and completing her undergraduate work at Kent State University. She served on the faculty at both Florida State and Arizona State Universities. Loretta also served as the Director of Communication and Professional Development in the newspaper industry. She was on the first International Debate Team sponsored by the United States Government to compete throughout the former USSR, 
debating in the Russian Language. She is the author of numerous landmark books, articles,

Sandra Bowen has been teaching Black Literature for decades and is old enough to remember the days of the depression in the south, so well depicted in her novel, This Day's Madness.  A retired professor, Sandra taught English, Literature, and African American Literature, specializing in African American Women Writers at Hunter College in New York, and at Arizona State University.  She has been a consultant for literature texts and anthologies and has contributed articles to literary journals.  She is the author of the handbook accompanying TECHNIQUES IN COLLEGE READING from Schiavone, and selections in the series PROJECT ENGLISH, Hunter College.  Her most recent novel in print is titled THIS DAY'S MADNESS.  Check it out at Amazon.com
